In July of 2022, Union Pacific employees at the Jenks Shops in Arkansas announced a new corporate livery. The new livery has a larger UP shield logo, lacks the front nose wings, but some units retain the lightning stripes on the sides (I really like the lightning stripes and wings on UP diesels). UP employees also moved the large flags on the sides of the engines, made them smaller, and placed them on the cab of the locos (I really liked the large flags, too). The resizing and relocation of the flags was because heat from the prime movers and dirt from day-to-day operation made the flag faded and filthy. I guess UP's employees wanted to respect the US flag. The CSX SPG route has both CSX YN2 and YN3b-liveried locomotives. I think that DTG should add the new UP corporate livery to the Cane Creek UP AC4400CW/C44ACM and the Sherman Hill UP SD70ACe for more variety. Also, I'd like to see a UP C45ACCTE (ES44AC) with both the older livery and the new livery added to the game.
