Does this mean the DB's standard series E10? Or that of the DR? https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/DB-Baureihe_E_10#Baureihe_E_10.12/Baureihe_112 Because that would be an absolute highlight in terms of sound and something is still missing in TSW! These electric locomotives use a switching mechanism to switch the speed steps, which also generates a very typical sound when starting, also to hear outside of the cabin. It would be so wonderful to hear that sound again when I drive off, it's so vintage, so beautiful.
Sadly, what is meant is the current ex-DR loco, not the Rheingold/TEE-model E 10 (or any of the other Einheitselektroloks). For whatever reason, DTG isn't interested in vintage DB like they are in vintage UK.
I was intrigued about this route, but seeing how things evolve that excitement has gone down the drain. The ex-DR 112 will be quite similar to the 143 (outside looks at least), so why bother even creating a new loco ... Then it would be the route, but since I know it quite well, I probably will detect far too many flaws compared to RL to be able to enjoy it.
