I was so shock and surprise that it was whatever we as the community have predicted which was the class 323. But one thing that i am down is that just only one trainset model, but still it is about time we get a new uk route location.

One thing that curious mean is this quote from the article for this route which is the part mentioning class 323 retiring and being replace with another model "...Sporting West Midlands Railway’s current striking Orange and White livery, the 323 has been a staple part of the Cross-City Line for many years, and with each unit being individually named, it's nice and easy for Railfans to spot them and add them to their collections. However, the unit is nearing the end of its working life on the route, with plans to transfer the fleet to be housed alongside their Northern Rail counterparts in Manchester, and the Cross-City Line to receive the more modern BR Class 730 EMU as a replacement in 2023."

What could this mean? Could it mean that we will see them make a standard loco dlc addon of the BR Class 730 EMU soon or probably its in the work by the team right now as i am speaking. I hope that is the case, cause the train itself look so amazing and futuristic.

The 730 is unlikely to come since it doesn't run yet and would require other changes the route I'm assuming. The article mentioned something about how there are numerous changes being made to the route.

Bcc is also getting layers from other routes. Most likely the 66 for freight and the rhtt. Maybe railtours if they run or other services with other trains

DLC Locomotive Class 730. Proper way is Class 60 VGA VAA Van's TEA tankers Passenger Class 323. Tractive force of a class 60 is 105k lbf vs Class 66 91k lbf This is due to the class 60 having less horsepower than a class 66 to make it have more lbf tractive effort
