It definitely needs more optimisation I discovered other day through FPS on screen and discovered massive frame drop into the red simply when loading game so at that stage there’s a big loading issue at play which probably explains why even series x is struggling
Crashed 3 times in last 90 mins midway through 3 different routes hamburg-lubeck, bcc and antelope valley this not very enjoyable game anymore and it feels like DTG dont give a toss.
Funny enough, the series s tends to be stable on the 3 routes. Have done plenty of runs on all 3 routes and it seems fine
Interesting, I did that service on the series s and I had no problem. Having red lights but that was because I was following a 112. I'm surprised the series s could cope with the route considering the series s has 6GB of memory less than the series x
Tsw5 unfortunately needs to be optimised, the crashing and blurry textures are because of the routes but the core. In the past, low frames wouldn't cause crashing
I've had it crash to dashboard once since the update but today found out the update has rendered the country/loco filter useless. If you press X on Xbox (square on PS) the filter comes up but nothing on it is selectable.
Creator's Club subscriptions have been known to cause issues regarding crashes - is it possible for this instability to be caused by anything downloaded from Creator's Club (such as a livery)?
The game absolutely needs to be optimised, but the frequency of crashes is way too high for this to be a simple case of poor optimisation. There must be something else if such a high-end console is crashing so frequently. Perhaps it is worth submitting a support ticket to DTG with as much information as possible. For now, dal#7945 and 14trainfan2029 , how many DLC do you both have installed? It is possible that having lots of DLC installed could cause some instability (but that may be a myth).
On Steam, there is an option to check that all game files have been updated correctly. Does such an option exist on Xbox? If not, would you consider a reinstallation of your game? I do appreciate you answering my questions, by the way, even though I can't guarantee that I can help.
I did try that I un installed everything the reinstalled it all one thing at a time took a while tho lol but still crashes
Well, I'm afraid I'm all out of ideas. If you want, you can try and run the game with fewer DLC installed, but I doubt it would help. If I do think of anything more, I'll get back to you.
