Hello folks, This was noted in the release announcement for the BR 145, but we also released a patch for Bahnstrecke Leipzig - Dresden and the Expert BR 101. I'll share the changelog in here as well: Additional Improvements to the Expert 101 Alongside the release of the Expert 145, we've also shared supporting updates for the Expert DB BR 101, and Bahnstrecke Leipzig - Dresden. A summary of changes can be noted below for reference, and you may see updates to these Add-ons if you have them installed. Functionality & Simulation Fixed BrakeCutout forcing the vehicle to cutout the brake rather than random as with PbZ. Made the distributor release valve open with the above mentioned brake cutout to release all brakes on affected coaches. Wiper should now be more in sync with the window effect. Fixed mismatch between MFA and MFD variant of the BR 101 in terms of current speed. The MFD loco now displays the same speed reading as the analog indicator and the HUD speedometer. Changed target/current effort and target speed parameters on the MFD to avoid magnetic overshoots Ensured multitraction between paired 101s works as expected and that the locos do not only detect each other in a ‘battery off’ state Reworked ZDE scroll wheel modulo logic to fix issue where core rotational lever would sometimes yield unexpected output (prevents BRH or VMZ from sometimes skipping a step and LED disagreeing with white text). Changed direct brake cutout logic to fix an issue where ‘dead in train’ locos were not releasing brake cylinders Passenger Coaches Fixed AI coach door logic to ensure AI trains do not get stuck in changing door state Gameplay Fixed an issue with the 101 Expert Tutorial preventing the player completing the scenario All the best, Jan
@trainnick77 There was just one TSW6 update on Steam today, and an update for Dresden–Leipzig. The update for the BR 101 Expert was released on 10 March 2026.
So no fixes for the mountains of tech and content debt in the Feedback and Troubleshooting forums. I would actually like to be able to brake the Class 380 without getting thrown through the windscreen at anything over 8% of PBC movement.
Can someone there please patch the cab lighting in the Class 220 Voyager. It’s been broken since its release pretty much. Makes it very difficult to use at night and in tunnels. It’s a pretty basic thing to fix. Long overdue.
uh, why didn't the update address this? You'll probably inform me to post this somewhere else. I wanted you to see this first hand. Please fix this!
Turning on a marker light in a Class 40 and it firing up a nuclear reactor in the engine room for some reason is long overdue being fixed as well, but that came out in 2019 rather than 2025.
Today's update to Dresden - Leipzig and the BR 101 Expert were necessary for the BR 145, which released today. This is not the core update DTG were talking about which is scheduled for next week. So all complaints about today's patch other than regarding the two affected DLC is pointless at this point.
It's never pointless to remind the developers of such glaring mistakes. DTG is very quick to update the game in advance of a release which will make money. Not so quick to correct errors when the sales have already been secured.
Well, the Class 380 DLC is a very old add-on – <spiteful>practically a legacy title</spiteful> – and I’m sure it’s long since fallen "off the radar". I’d also like to see this fixed in this otherwise fantastic add-on, but I remember how it was with the Class 313 – they released it, sold it, then forgot about it. So I have no illusions. They’d probably should to sell these patches as separate DLCs. But seriously, the brakes on my car aren’t half as powerful as the Class 380’s in TSW6. British railway technology is centuries ahead of the physics we know!
