significant update on the game today but I cannot find out what it was anyone know?
Be for the new DLC priced at 8.99 but there is no new fish on it just a lake, seems a bit steep to me when the entire game was 15quid..
They have fixed the broken achievement for catching 500 fish as well
I knew it, bloody money grabbers
Yup, they need to fix what they already have first, but from what I read they have never cared about their player base.
I'm confused now they said there wasn't any new species but....
Lol, that was a fast DLC release.
Already playing the dlc, loving it.
lol, again 11 Euros for a recycled Lake!? F**k you DT
Super lazy man. This could be a Godly fishing game if they'd just put an ear out and listen. I want to say I can't believe they just recycled a previous lake......but that definitely up DT ally.
Thank you for letting me know i greatly appreciate it.
Think they mean no new species as apposed to the lake when it was in fsw, as now they have added the rudd, barbel, brown trout, eels and chub to this lake. I suspect it's a clever marketing trick adding in the new species to get people to buy it as they could just load fsw and play the lake on there. They also added some more boss fish to the lake and the average weights of the carp and pike seem to be heavier.
I swear they need to fire whoever is making the marketing & development calls for their fishing franchise! Train Sim is getting a whole new optimized game engine, entire full maps, new engines & guess what? The ability to completely bring all your previously bought maps & trains to the new game!!! So, how the living H*LL is the Fishing franchise getting away with churning out a broken, rehash of the same game from FSW, minus half the content, venues, career mode. Then instead of allowing us to bring over our maps, add a couple more fish species to previously released maps, increase the price & sell it as new dlc!!!
The real tragedy is if Dovetail keeps allowing them(whoever it is) to run the fishing franchise like this, it's going to implode! Then they will have no revenue from a once potentialialy great franchise & the player base will have one less choice in a sorely under represented gaming genre!
