We’ve updated our previous community guidelines in order to make the forums a place for healthy discussion and connections.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines can result in your content being removed, your account being muted or placed under strict moderation or a full account and IP ban.

No hate speech/bullying.
We operate a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech/slurs. This includes, but is not limited to, comments against one’s religion, sexuality, gender, disability, race or appearance.

No inappropriate remarks towards other users or Dovetail staff and partners.
This includes comments that are violent or sexual in nature, any comments that encourage physical harm, death or illness towards other users or Dovetail staff members.

Doxxing is strictly prohibited.
Doxxing involves publishing real names, addresses and contact details of other users or Dovetail staff members.

No spamming or posting harmful links.
Spamming includes repeatedly posting the same content, replying to other users with the same comment, posting off-topic threads in the official TSW section of the forum or responding using potentially harmful links.

Respect the privacy of other users.
Do not message other users without their permission. You may message Dovetail staff directly, but your enquiry is more likely to be seen by tagging one of them in a thread directly.

No self-promotion or advertising.
This includes selling, buying or promotion of personal businesses. If you're a streamer and would like to promote your channel, please create a dedicated thread in the Off-Topic section of the forum, or add a link to your signature.

Do not impersonate another forum member or Dovetail staff member.
This includes editing a staff member’s comment if they have moderated your original content due to a rules violation and creating an account using another forum or staff member’s name or pictures.

Do not abuse the report tool.
The report tool is to be used for the above violations. Do not report content that that isn’t covered under this list. If you believe something should be added to the Code of Conduct, please feel free to raise this with a staff member.
