The San Bernardino and the Antelope Valley Lines are two of my favorite lines in the Metrolink system. Both routes are super enjoyable and I play both of these routes in TSW all the time. Metrolink is currently in a period of lots of change. They have just begun their transition from being a commuter rail system to a regional rail system through new schedule changes coming on October 21st. Both the AVL and the SBL have received changes to their schedule that should definitely be implemented into the current game timetables. Antelope Valley Line The AVL's schedule was changed back in October with the finished construction of Vista Canyon Station. These changes were unfortunately not implemented into the AVL for TSW. The new schedule added 5 additional roundtrips to the route (from 10 roundtrips), allowing for hourly service between LA and Via Princessa and trains every 1-2 hours to Lancaster. It also implemented more evening trains and adjusted the timings of services so trains all departed at a certain time interval every hour. With the timetable change coming on October 21st, trains that terminate at Via Princessa will now terminate at Vista Canyon. Implementing these changes to the current route would be a nice enhancement to the route as well as adding in the MP36 and Bombardier Bi-level coaches to the timetable! San Bernardino Line The San Bernardino Line will be receiving massive changes this October. Metrolink will be introducing trains running every hour to San Bernardino, and every hour to Covina, providing half-hourly service between LA and Covina. This is a huge improvement over the old timetable with its additional variety and MANY new services. This new timetable will have 27 roundtrips on weekdays in comparison to the previous 18 roundtrips. This will give players much more to do on the SBL and provide them with shorter services to Covina for those who do not have time to play the full route. The route will be much busier and be a very welcomed improvement to the route. Seeing these changes on the SBL once the new timetable is implemented would be really awesome!
