Add the Bombardier M9 train and Grand Central Madison Terminal extension.

I hope they’ll add the M9 locomotive Lirr and extend the Lirr from Jamaica to Babylon or Hicksville to Huntington.

They can't even bother fixing the broken signaling on it, I can't see the current LIRR route getting any more substantial updates, and especially not more trains.

It's better to leave the current lirr alone and create a new lirr route in a different area, add in acses and include the signalling improvements and a busier timetable by Joe. Lots of things on lirr would require rebuilding so I think it's better to start fresh

I agree. a redone LIRR, especially with the DE/DM30AC locomotives and coaches would be fantastic.

The current LIRR route will be 5 years old later this year, and it really does show its age badly. The scenery is not good, the signalling isn’t good, the trains are lacking, and the timetable is just a ghost town, despite the LIRR being the busiest commuter rail in North America IRL.

Personally I would prefer the DE/DMs with the bi-level coaches over the M9, as they offer more variety and Long Island City terminal is already in the game. And I mean the M9 does not look that different from the M7.

A complete redone might be better as the current route is full of flaws, but I do hope in that case they would keep the current branches and terminuses, with maybe extending one of the branches to the east or north.
