Upgraded to the Series X recently and this game is quite the looker on a 4K set.

Textures and minute details that weren't visible playing on the OG Xbox one really pop on the Series X. I'm talking like distinguishing textures on your boat (carpet vs rubber vs the metal flake in the paint); little things like making out the logos and different material textures (i.e. carbon fiber weaves) on rods and reels while fishing in game; lure models/colors look improved; fish models look more realistic (i.e. the depth and color of scales/patterns); even the sky box lighting and water textures really seem so much better. Really impressed with how it looks, and excited to see how some of the community's suggested changes (such as animated lures) will come to fruition in the future. Excited for the game to continue to evolve.

It is also nice seeing that a number of the bugs/glitches that I was still experiencing on Xbox One are seemingly fixed up on the Series X version of the game (i.e. catch locations are now showing up on the Catch Summary, end of round stats and venue stats reporting correctly). There are still some glitches here and there, but mostly minor things (i.e. recent catches not updating since October for me still, some graphical bugs still with certain boat and character models - a new one seems to be the bow of the Bass Cat Jaguar disappears underneath your feet while reeling a fish into the "landing chance" circle, leaving you hovering over the water; toggling between map waypoints is still a bit finnicky)

Can't wait to play it a bit more on the new system and get further along in the career mode - the Bassmaster Opens season is up next, so looking forward to that. Competing in the 2022 Online Bassmaster Classic was a blast - here's to hoping that it will evolve into something like the old "DFL" with weekly tournaments here in the near future!
