What I’d like to know from players experience is about gameplay I’m running tsw 3 on series S console in your experience is it worth upgrading to series X do you notice vast improvements on series x when compared to series s?

You'll get the 4k option on Series X if you have the monitor / tv for it. Otherwise performance wise it stutters like every other platform.
Are these stutters documented somewhere in a Technical Report? I've seen them on DRA and LIRR, but not on CRR and CJP. So far, on my routes, cities equal stuttering, but wilderness is smooth. I'd like to see a larger set of routes where stuttering happens, to see if I can confirm my theory.
I can't compare directly since I never had Series S, but it's a vast improvement over XB1 certainly. I have basically all the DLC and everything has run very smoothly other than core issues that exist on all platforms (UE rendering stutters, shadow draw distance, etc). Generally speaking, it's the best console i've ever had. It's tiny, silent, and powerful- you barely even notice it's there.
