It would be awesome if the Upper Midwest could have more representation in Train Simulator. Here are a few recommended railroad companies and their largest locomotive pools:
    • Milwaukee Road (EMD SD40-2, GP9, GP40, F7, MP15AC, SW1200, FM H-12-44, H-16-44, H10-44)
    • Soo Line (EMD SD40-2, GP38-2, SD60, GP9, MP15AC)
    • Chicago & Northwestern (EMD GP7, GP7R, SD40-2, SD45, GE C44-9W)
    • Illinois Central (EMD GP10, GP9, SD40-2, SW14)
    • Wisconsin Central (EMD SD45, SD40-3, GP35, GP35m, GP40, SW1500)

Currently there are no models of any Fairbanks Morse locos although there is (IRC) an H-16-44 under developement by a third party. There is no GP10 either as this was a rebuild by the IC at Paducah of GP7s and GP9s with big boxy filters (it would be useful however). Most of the other locos are available as repaints mostly from the RWA (as you may be aware) and there is a Soo Line route from Eyein12's website but I agree the midwest is poorly represented and those roads in particular

    edit:
I just remembered that Great Northerner has a route mainly CB&Q but has a section of Milwaukee based on Great Falls if I remember right and it is Freeware.

Thank you for the response. I am very thankful for sites like RWA because of this very issue. Recently several classic railroads have gotten attention in TS, such as ATSF, B&O, and WM but there is still so much potential.

…and TS definitely needs some FM representation too. :)
