I have a game controller that is a throttle suitable for a flight simulator. It has several axis. I'd like to bind one axis to the train's throttle, and one to the reverser for a steam locomotive. I can't find any way to do this, though. Any suggestions?
CobraOne's RailDriver & controller interface is what you need. There's a couple of links, first one is to follow the progress of the software via forum posts from the last 4 yrs, (it says 2015 but it is fully up to date with TS2021) don't worry you don't need to read every post but if you go through CobraOne's posts you'll see the progression of features, functions and fixes added as they were added https://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewt...tart=705&sid=802c12f92fa9c30541b72bf103a1a009 Second link (it's the one in CobraOnes signature) takes you to the dropbox download, if you look in the "TS2017 Raildriver and Joystick Interface" folder you'll see a .pdf that should also explain what's what and what the software covers in regards to hardware. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cbwyvjrt3x6gxat/AAB5WALzXgIqxADDO1ST-rBqa?dl=0 It's pretty easy and intuitive to setup and run and you don't need a raildriver for this to work (as explained in the documentation I linked you to)
I might be a very likely Candidate to get whatever it is you want actually working with anything Arduino.
