    Hi,

I'm just starting to build a scenario using the TSC editor.
My first scenario works fine, but when I want to add a personal/user consist, I click on the chosen consist in the list on the left, it seems to be validated but it doesn't appear when I want to put it on a track. There's nothing at the end of the mouse pointer.
My consists were created using either the TSC editor or RWE2.
What should I do? I can't find anything in the manuals.
Thank you very much for your help.

    Richard

You must load the assets that your consist is built upon, this only happen automatically in QuickDrive.

If I make a consist using Hamburg-Lübeck stock for example, I put a [HL] prefix to its name, so I know in case I'm using it for a scenario I have to tick DTG\HamburgLubeck.

Sorry, I'm talking about a Standard scenario that I created via the Build option in TSC. Maybe I didn't explain myself well or I misunderstood your answer.
In this scenario, let's say I want to add a consist I've created to the rails. In Build, I click on the Consists icon. Underneath appears a list of existing consists, including mine. In this list I click on, for example, LNER Peppercorn class K1 + 6 Wagons (this is the name I gave to the consist I created via RWE2). Normally, if I move the mouse over a track, I should be able to see the entire consist at the tip of my mouse. But there's nothing there, the consist is not represented.
    Richard.

No, I do understand. As I said, you have to tick the Peppercorn assets using the Object set filter (blue cube with orange arrow). In this case activate VictoryWorks\PeppercornK1 pack.

For a scenario, you have to select the assets you are using, that's also valid for custom consists. If the coaches are from another DLC, you must activate it too for your scenario.

Yes, I did. In Victory Works Peppercorn ticked and RWE (all my consists) ticked. If it wasn't ticked in wouldn't be in the list.

Then one or more of the coaches are not from the K1 pack. Unless all assets are loaded, the consist won't appear in the editor - only in QD.

Does RWE2 store the consist in Content\ConsistTemplates.bin or in a preload file?

Bingo, understand, The KUJU wagons were not ticked!
To answer your question, I don't know. Under Content there are two files: ConsistTemplates.bin and ConsistTemplates.xml.
Thank you very much for your help Spikee!
