I believe this has been a long-running topic, especially in Ebula-related forum threads, but lets discuss this aspect of gameplay in general... be it for any reason, gameplay or licensing, we still have inactive/empty displays in the game that could be used for stuff, even if it aint completely realistic In German/Austrian trains, usually one display would be an Ebula screen IRL, this could be used for some temporary solution, as discussed in Ebula threads In UK trains, maybe use it to display gradient, signal aspect and maybe tractive effort or sth? And in US trains, why not try and come up with sth that could be there in place of PTC? Some maybe fictional safety system that would show info and enforce some stuff? Dunno, I believe you guys could have some great ideas, maybe even come up with some technical solutions? Y know, I am not a guy to pick much on scenery stuff, as I spend most of my time in the cab... and I like to read/watch stuff on displays, keeps me busy and immersed... but having a screen that just sits there, kills a bit of immersion for me... see, e.g. the way guys from TSG (hope I didnt mess this up) used the usually empty screen in BR 101 Expert is genius, would LOVE to see more of those inventive ways in TSW And who knows? Maybe some community solution makes it into the game and eventually inspires IRL counterpart Cheers and looking forward to hearing/reading your ideas
