So, I´m currently making a ÖBB livery for the BR 642 to use it on my Almtalbahn route, but I´ve asked myself if I am allowed to use the ÖBB logos, because DTG has the license for the logo. Maybe someone can help me out!?
technically you should be fine with it as DTG already has if I am correct 3 vehicles the logo is used on (Talent 1, 1116 and the newest IC coaches).
While this is not an official response, it's pretty safe to assume, that nothing is going to happen as long as your project is freeware and all the data you redistribute has a royality free or CC license. If you want to sell your product via DTG, that's another story.
Should be fine as long you're not selling or making money off the licensed property. If you wanted to sell your mod as a proper addon/dlc then you'd need to get licenses.
