FrontRunner runs on about an 80 mile route from Ogden, UT through Salt Lake City, and terminates in Provo, UT. The area which this train serves makes up of over 80% of Utah's total population. The route sees regular service with trains in both directions running every 30 minutes during peak time and every hour during off peak times. Travel time from end-to-end is just over two hours, but not all trains run the entire route. DTG could do what they did with the Antelope Valley Line and split the services into two parts with each part being about an hour each. FrontRunner was built adjacent to a Union Pacific mainline so more services could be run and freight train delays would not impact FrontRunner's operations. The rolling stock is similar to Peninsula Corridor as FrontRunner uses the MP36, bombardier bi-level cars/cabcars (literally a copy/paste with a repaint), but they also use "Comet cars" to increase capacity. Nice idea. If this route is added, I'd like to see the Cab Car, MP36PH-3C, and a couple of UP diesels for freight services. I'd prefer new engines such as a UP GP60/GP60E/GP62, SD70M, SD60M, SD60, SD59MX, ET44AC (C45AH), ES44AC (C45ACCTE), AC6000CW/C44ACM rebuild, SD90-43MAC, SD70AH-T4, GP39-2/GP39N, and/or GP40-2/GP40N, along with UP freight rolling stock: coal gondolas or hoppers, grain hoppers, intermodal well cars, autoracks, cement hoppers, steel coil cars, etc. We could also see some SP and D&RGW patched units and UP new corporate livery locomotives. UP serves industries in the Ogden, Salt Lake and Provo areas, so some of those could be included.
that train strongly reminds me of Camel Hump formation trains that run on Wien - St. Polten (old Westbahn corridor), just with that added US heavy look to it
