There is a total of 18 stations along this section and those are Göteborg Central, Sävenäs, Partille, Jonsered, Aspen, Aspedalen, Lerum, Stenkullen, Floda, Norsesund, Västra Bodarna, Alingsås, Vårgårda, Herrljunga, Floby, Falköping C, Stenstorp and Skövde C. Most of these stations are commuter only so to clarify the stations that see some regional and intercity services are Göteborg Central, Alingsås, Herrljunga, Falköping C and Skövde C. Some regional services also stop at Vårgårda. Rolling stock: [X2000] Manufactured by ASEA, Kalmar Verkstad and later ABB between 1989 - 1998. It's a high speed active tilt train with a maximum operational speed of 200km/h. The name X2000 is not a name of any actual loco, car or train set but a brand name by SJ for train sets consisting of an (X2) loco, 4 (UA2/UB2) first/second class cars, an (URB2) second class car with a bistro and an (UBX2) driving trailer (total of 7 cars). It operates under the brand name SJ Snabbtåg, X2000. It would run non-stop between Göteborg Central - Skövde C on this route but in real life it continues to Stockholm Central. [X74] Part of Stadler Rail's Flirt family of EMU's it was manufactured between 2014 - 2015 for MTR and their MTRX services between Stockholm and Göteborg. As of the summer of 2024, the MTRX has now been handed over to VR Sverige. Only 6 units were ever produced and they are all now and are used for their services between Stockholm and Göteborg. It consists of 5 cars and has a maximum operational speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). They would run the entirety of this route between Göteborg Central - Skövde C and in real life continue on towards Stockholm. The intermediate stops would however vary service to service. Some stop at Herrljunga and Falköping C, some at Alingsås and Herrljunga and some at Alingsås and Falköping C. [X61] Part of Alstom's Coradia Nordic family of EMU commuter trains that were manufactured between 2009 - 2019. They consist of 4 cars and have a maximum oprational speed of 160 km/h (99 mph) There are 3 companies operating them Skånetrafiken, Östgötatrafiken and the operator running them on this route, Västtrafik. Västtrafik's ones differ a bit from the other operators's ones as they have more doors and a different enterior allowing for a higher capacity during rush hour. They specifically run them between Göteborg Central - Alingsås stopping at all intermediate stations.
Great suggestion. I would love to see some nordic routes in TSW. Seems to be a very good route for the length limit which sadly is too short for the longer routes found in Scandinavia. If some of you would like to see more of the route itself, here is a cab ride video for you:
