The Vectron Br 193 , which is popular with many people and has a large fan base, can be found in the German public transport system. And if there is a good opportunity to make TSW3 even more varied and realistic, this move could be integrated into the game as an option. The Vectron is a family of electric multi system and diesel-electric locomotives manufactured by Siemens Mobility. It is designed for both freight and passenger operations and is used by various railway companies across Europe. The locomotive is known for its modular design, which allows for customization and adaptation to different operational requirements. These data are for the DB Br 193 Top speed: 160 km/h And 230km/h Length: 18.7 - 21.1 meters (depending on version) Total weight: 80 - 90 tons (depending on equipment) Number of traction motors: 4 Motor traction power:6400 kW Braking power of the generator brakes: 150kN (240kN opional ) Max. starting traction: 300 kN Power supply:15 kV AC, 25 kV AC und 1,5 kV DC and Diesel Generator Brakes: electrical resistance brakes, recuperation brakes, optional air brakes Safety systems: ETCS, LZB/PZB , SCMT , ZUB262/INTEGRA , AGB-EG , Mirel , LS , SHP , EVM , TBL1+ ; ATS,EBICAB 700 and 900 extras: depending on the equipment, most freight locomotives have cameras as mirrors and for monitoring the pantographs , then shown in one of the displays all variants of the br 193 : Vectron AC: This variant is designed for use in AC networks with a voltage of 15 kV AC. Vectron MS: This multi-system variant can be used on both AC and DC networks. It supports various voltages, such as 15 kV AC, 25 kV AC and 1.5 kV DC. Vectron DC: This variant is specially designed for use on direct current networks with a voltage of 1.5 kV DC. Vectron Dual Mode: This variant has an additional diesel engine and can be operated with both electric and diesel traction. It enables use on non-electrified route sections. Vectron DE: This diesel-electric variant is based on the Vectron Dual Mode and is intended for pure diesel operation so there are enough variants to bring them on to the european tsw3 routes such as: Bremen - Oldenburg Kassen - Würzburg Hamburg - Lübeck Duisburg - Bochum Dresden - Resa Augsburg - München Aschaffenburg - Gemünden Chemnitz - Dresden Wuppertal - Finnentrop The Vectron locomotives are used in Germany in various areas of passenger transport. Here are some examples: Long-distance traffic: Deutsche Bahn uses Vectron locomotives in long-distance traffic. They are used to operate Intercity and EuroCity trains that operate on longer domestic and international routes. operating speed:200 km/h Regional traffic: Vectron locomotives are also used in regional traffic. Various regional railway companies in Germany, such as Abellio, Go-Ahead or Metronom, use Vectron locomotives to operate their regional trains. operating speed:140 km/h - 160 km/h (200 km/h only between ulm - wendlingen) Special trains and charter traffic: Vectron locomotives are also used for special trains and charter traffic. This includes, for example, the use of Vectron locomotives for special events, special trips or private charter trains. please always feel free to leave a comment which train I should do next
Not a fan of the looks of the locomotive, but it looks like adding this locomotive opens up a lot of possibilities, including venturing into new countries (which is something I'd love to see). So I'm supporting this particular loco for that reason, but not interested if it'll be the DB variant only.
What is perhaps still interesting to know is that the design for the head shape of the Vectron was developed from 2005 for a Lithuanian diesel locomotive ER20 CF, which was built from 2007. Apparently the Siemens board liked it so much that it was then adopted for the new Vectron locomotive platform.
Bring it on and speaking of this This is a Nederlandse Spoorwegen Vectron 193 MS Here's a Vectron DC. In Germany this is called Deutsche Bahn Baureihe 191
The Br 193 can be so cool in a modern German locomotive package with my suggestion of Stadler Euro 9000 (EuroDual) ( here is the link to see my suggestion : https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/stadler-euro-9000.69977/ ) used by DB.
There’s a chance that the new German Loco with the code: “3.DKK-L7 01“ could be a vectron, due to some being multi current. Although that’s just a possibility, I’m wondering which verson from which railroad could come to the game
the Vectron in TSW is a thing now, congratulations. really wished for the DB class 193 tho, the DB Vectron, since DTG's Vectron is a Railpool one.
I'd rather have the Railpool Vectron to be honest, nice to have a bit of colour variety instead of red all the time.
how cute yeah we'll see if DTG bothers to add passenger services to the RP Vectron at all, of it it's just gonna get thrown into the freight corner
true! But hopefully it will be possible to have it on all routes and not only some because only DB loco substitution is enabled… E.g. MSB, RSN, etc.
damn, you are right; but to be honest I would really like to have the possibility for it to be there- although it wouldn’t be very realistic, but it would be a cool new loco for this awesome route!
Easy solution - give us a 140/150/151 and we can have a new, appropriate loco Joking aside, I get you. While I wouldn’t want to see a Vectron on RSN, I agree with the desire to have as much gameplay with it as possible. It’s been so long since we had a decent German freight loco…
my god, just imagine a Br151 on MSB and RSN :0 For sure, that’s why I would love to be able to toggle which locos, how often and in which livery they can spawn as AI- at least for services where it’s random, e.g. freight or the loco for Dostos
You are correct for the most part if you have newer routes installed you tend to see the newer version over the original version. On RSN the Nahverkehr Dresden DR Baureihe 243 is the more common one and you will be forced to Simply restart the game to get the original version. On RSN Traxx 185.2s are still common despite having newer route dlc locos. Same will be for the Vectron
