Steam Version On Pc Freezing, Can't Get Past The Press Any Button Screen

The game launches, the music plays, then the screen "Press any Button" comes up and ....... the whole thing freezes. Not good.

I've tried a couple of times to validate the on-disc files and it downloads 6 each time.

I then launch the game and ....... it freezes at the same screen each time.

So how am I supposed to play this nightmare ? I was so looking forward to customising the keyboard ...... but no, I can't even get there !!!

I'd be interested to know if otheres are experiencing this.

Here are my PC specs.

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 physical cores
W11 24H02 all updates applied
64Gb RAM
nVidia GeForce RTX 3060 with 12Gb vram
Audio : Focusrite 18i20 USB
2 x NVMe 4 Tb cards (City Tram local files are on one of them)
1 x Fanxiang SSD 4 Tb (Steam app is on this unit)

Pre 1.03 update my set up was running City Trams with zero issues. No other issues running Steam purchases (your 2 train Sims work flawlessly).

Hope you/the developpers can rapidly find a fix.
