I wasn't expecting to be able to edit existing timetables but I was hoping to be able view existing timetables, you can in the unofficial editor.
When I try to open an existing timetable nothing happens, if I copy it and then try to open the copy the editor crashes. Is something wrong at my end or is this how it is? I do appear to be able to create new timetables (only quickly tested adding a new formation and service).

They were talking about that since the beginning. Timetable is using graph and during cooking its removed so editor is missing those data in cooked assets so you cant open them, it crash because of that missing data.

How did you manage to get them to open in the unofficial editor? Couldn’t they use the same technique? Would be awesome if they could.

Ok, so I've got my little class 08 going backwards and forwards in my test timetable, next question: How do we generate datatracks for our custom timetable? Has this been covered by any other documentation or videos I've missed?

What do you mean by datatracks?

As I understand it, the datatrack file details where each train is going to be at any given moment, so when you spawn into the middle of a 24 hour timetable it knows where each train needs to be at that exact moment.

How have you managed to do this? I've managed to create a new timetable, but not yet found how to pull the route up in the editor to select locations etc.

Maybe this file is automaticly created after a full simulation of the timetable.

You need to double click on the map file, for Northern Transpenine for example this file is found in the following location: /LeedsManchester/Map/LeedsManchesterMap.

It's not automatic, I found the answer on one of the other threads here, you need to run the following from the windows command line (not from within the editor):

    "C:\TrainSimWorld4MOD\TS2Prototype\Binaries\Win64\TrainSimWorldPublicEditor.exe" TS2Prototype -run=SimulateTimetable Timetable=/LeedsManchester/Scenarios/ServiceMode/TestTimetable

It generated the datatrack file (albeit with an error message, not sure whether that's important or not) and then when I simulated the timetable through play in editor I was able to see the train move even if the simulation started after the specified start time of the service.

This may be a completely wrong guess, but this datatrack file, is it this that makes the PIS screens show the services in the timetable? I've managed to get a few trains running round and its working well, but all the PIS screens are blank. Have we figured out how to get these to show any info yet?
