Every time I drive a 390 to Euston I get an TPWS/Vigilance emergency application on approach to the stop marker at Euston I'm slowing from about 25 down to 0 on arrival but I get a yellow alerter come up and sudden brakes with no chance to reset the warning, the train just stops What am I doing wrong ? Is there a tpws overspeed grid I'm not seeing and that I should be doing a certain speed, despite the limit being. 25?
The TPWS over speed running into the platform is 15 MPH. So you should be doing less than that when you hit the end of the platform. Not really signed correctly - the standard speed on UK railways approaching a buffer stop is generally no more than 15 MPH, for obvious reasons! So not a bug, just poorly signed route and I don’t think the 15 appears on the HUD either.
Yes the grid I can see it's covered by the semi transparent green coach stop marks. Will do 15 in future or press the tpws hold over when I go over it
You can also switch off the on track markers in options, though it’s a PITA as every time you get an introductory scenario in the Training Centre it gets switched back on.
