I have applied the bug fix for VNHRR and it now loads without issue in 64 bit mode. Glad to have it back, I decided to run a Standard scenario "Fuel to the Airport". Loaded just fine but when the scenario opened, there was no external engine sounds, however, I had engine sounds when in the Cab view. The GP9 is aliased from RSC so I copied/pasted the Audio file from the RSC GP9 Pack 01 into the sound folder of the VNHRR GP9. Still no external view engine sounds. I loaded other scenario's that featured the GP9 and the same results. For anyone that has the VNHRR Springfield route, do you have external engine sounds from any scenario that runs the GP9?

    Thanks

I have tested the GP9 and I do have internal and external sounds.

Thanks for the feedback. Any thoughts what is going on with my setup? I have done several reinstallations of my VNHRR program which is the TAD issue. Don't know if that would be any different from the STEAM issue. And why just no external sounds. Internal Cab view plays the engine sound. Puzzling.

OK, I solved it but I have no idea where the problem was. I maintain a complete backup of all Assets and Content folders with two sub folders for each. One is the OEM as an original program backup and the other is a MOD (Modified) folder for changes I make to the OEM program. What I ended up doing was uninstalling VNHRR from my HD and also deleting the folder from the Assets folder. Did the same for the Route in the Contents folder. No trace of the OEM program. I then copy/pasted my backup VNHRR folders that I had made some 6 months ago into the main Assets and Contents folder, fired up TSC, went to a scenario that had the GP9 featured, and I had my external sounds back. What puzzles me is that I could not correct the problem on a clean install of the TAD VNHRR copy that I had. Never had this problem before so I can only surmise that there was a corrupt file somewhere in my RW setup but I have no idea what or where it was. I'll find out when I have to do a complete uninstall/reinstall of RW vs just a file verification.
