Driving the Voyager at night is impossible . I tried to run a service from Paington to Exeter on the 220, at 8pm. It was so dark it was impossible to. I had to switch to a day service. I can't send a screenshot because I am not logged in for my PC so I would have to send an email to myself, and from my laptop airdrop it to my phone... I will do that when I get home but yeah. That's my complaint. Apart from that the route is really nice and well done :)

I experienced that too, I didn't see the light shining on the tracks

I think it doesn't quite throw the light far enough forward, its like the headlights are so dipped you cannot see the track at all or the upcoming signs until you're on top of them. I am aware that most train lights are not very illuminating but this is a bit too little.

Theres also an issue with the 166 where when you go into a tunnel the headlights make it look like you have turned on a stadium spotlight theyre so bright - hopefully this is fixed with the GWE remaster

The 802 has similar issues though in another thread a driver on the real thing did state that, despite the almost dazzling LED lights when these things approach, there is not much forward illumination projected down on the track. Part of the problem is that nights in TSW are way too dark even in towns and cities where there should be plenty of ambient light pollution. There needs to be an option for those who prefer to drive with a bit of visibility to choose that rather than the pitch black when we might as well step back 25 years and be playing Simudrive.

That really is an issue, as night driving can be interesting.

I drove the Voyager at night, it was the first service I fully completed.

Its not bright by any means, but is driveable.
