getting a fair bit of sreen tear so there seems to be a vsync issue
I'm getting a lot of screen tearing on my Xbox One X.
yes i have heard this from other players
Yeah the screen tear is pretty bad on the X. It is probably the worst thing for breaking immersion to be honest. However, I read on Reddit last night that Dovetail have just patched Euro Fishing for the Xbox One X, so that should hopefully mean they patch this as well.
needs to be an over all patch mate it's just as bad on the old xbox one not sure if the X is better or worse but i'd imagine the same
I was really looking forward to this game but was afraid of just such issues. I hope Dovetail will say if this will be (soon) patched. I won't buy it until it looks less "early access." I don't want this ruining the experience.
I don't blame you, I'm going to stop playing it until they fix the screen tearing, it's really that bad.
I'm playing on a Xbox One X, and the screen tearing has practically gone away over the last 3 days. The screen tearing looks to be down to the operating system and not the game. While I'm still getting little bits here and there (no more than any other game), its significantly reduced since Microsoft updated the Alpha Preview ring.
If you don't believe me, check out my stream from tonight, which shows very little in the way of screen tearing.
I did check four different timestamps in the video and tearing is present everywhere and quite apparent for someone who always plays with vsync. Perhaps you just grew accustomed to it.
XBOX X owners please try this and report back.
I turned off all the on screen icons like next signal, speed limit and destination and the screen tearing has almost vanished. It's still present but hardly noticeable, the low fps still happen.
I had also changed the look sensitivity from 1 to 2 but doubt this would be why the screen tearing reduced.
