Does anybody know where I could find the VT 1st Gen Pack? I know that all of the 3rd party key sites I've checked don't have it [edit by Protagonist mobdro - better not to talk about software piracy on the official forum for the game, don't you think?]
1. Pretty stupid mentioning this on an official forum. 2. Won't get you far anyway. Stuff is DRM protected and only works if it is in your Steam account. Only way is to get a key. Or contact Richard Branson.
There's really no need to go to those morally bankrupt lengths. The same 47 model can be had with the new Huddersfield route, and I'm sure there are 3rd party skins in VT for it, or if not, will be soon. The Pendolino with WCML south has VT skins for it, and the AP 86, 87 and 90 have VT skins for it. Of course the AP coaching packs come with VT livery. The AP HST packs have it as well. The AP products need a patch to get the branding back, but it's all available on ATS. No need to pull your hair out over this. There is a cost involved though if you don't have any of those products, but if you are that desperate, there is a way to do this legally and with available rolling stock and reskins.
Virgin Pack is protected - like all DTG content. No key in your account - no model decryption - polygon hell. Will not discuss this further.

You know as well as I do that telling people how to commit piracy in a official forum is not a good idea.
We'll allow this thread to continue, but please use a small amount of common sense in doing so. If anyone can help out the original poster please do so. Discussion of illegal methods of gaining access to software will see your post removed.
I did. You can get all the Virgin goodness from a range of AP products, DTG products and third party reskins.
While I don't mind missing out on the models as they're all available elsewhere, the scenarios are not. I collect scenarios and like making them too, so I do feel annoyed I never got the chance to play the Virgin 390 scenarios. I have the NWC rerelease and bought TS2018 to get the Virgin livery, and I already have the Virgin Trains First Generation pack, but I still kick myself for never getting the Class 390. Somebody converted all the base Hedborough North scenarios for the Workshop version, so would it theoretically be possibly to convert all the Virgin Trains scenarios (and scenarios for other withdrawn packs like Up The Junction, the RSDL Class 08 and 66, etcetera) to use other stock and public it on the workshop? If I had Huddersfield I'd convert the 1st Gen scenarios to use the stock included in that, but I currently do not.
