The Franken-Thüringen-Express would connect Würzburg to Nürnberg and has had an interesting recent transition from Bombardier to Vectron to new rolling stock allowing recent historical scenario variants with Talent 2, Railpool 193 up to latest 2024. Nürnberg to Regensburg opens up future connections to München and also SE. The recent use of Vectron was to address ETCS use in Transition away from Talent.
