A route suggestion i have is the West Anglia Mainline from London liverpool street via stratford and hackney downs to Stansted Airport and Cambridge North. The route would feature 28 stations and be set in the time prior to aventras and flirts taking over. As standard the trains the route would come with are: Class 379 electrostar emu Class 317 emu Possible layers: Class 66 for freight services Railtours The route would have 28 stations, here they are in order from South to North. London Liverpool Street Stratford - Lea Bridge / Hackney Downs Tottenham Hale Northumberland Park Meridian Water Ponders End Brimsdown Enfield Lock Waltham Cross Cheshunt Broxbourne Roydon Harlow Town Harlow Mill Sawbridgeworth Bishops Stortford Stansted Mountfitchet - Stansted Airport Elsenham Newport (Essex) Audley End Great Chesterford Whittlesford Parkway Shelford Cambridge Cambridge North The class 379 electrostar would be used for Stansted Airport services as how it was before the replacement by class 745s, and Class 317 emus would run services as far as Broxbourne on Hertford East services (more on that later) Bishops Stortford and Cambridge North. They would also operate shuttle services between Stratford and Meridian Water. A possible future route extension would be The Hertford East branch which has just 4 stations and is 5 miles long. It could be added as standard however i think it would be a good choice for DLC. The Branch line calls at: Hertford East Ware St Margarets Rye House Then joins the WAML at Broxbourne. Overall i think it would be a great route to drive especially with the stock that would come with the route and i think it would be extremely popular.
