Was The Playstation Trophy Limit The Reason For Tsw3?

Still very shocked about the sudden and botched announcement of TSW3. The only thing I can think of when reading about TSW3 is "Why?"

I just realised that releasing another version number fixes the Playstation Trophy limit. If they wanted to fix that limit TSW3 was the only solution.

Could I be on to something? Should I start True crime investigations podcasts?

 

From the streams I watched, main reasons was new UI, dynamic weather and lighting.

 

They did say on stream they had reduced the trophies on the routes and part of this was to address the PS trophy limitation...

 

Ah damnit, they already confessed to it
