This is my first thread creation so I'm a little nervous.

I just wanted to ask if you thought TSW3 was actually delayed.

I think so because normally DTG's summer releases come out in summer (They aim for the 4th August but always get it delayed)

However, TSW3 came out on the 6th September. I think no one noticed because they didn't announce it until they were 100% certain of the release date.

Doubtless if they announced it in June, then delayed it, the community may not have been so happy.

So I want to commend DTG if they did this on purpose, because it seems to me like the correct way of releasing a game - there has been significantly less "forum violence" in my eyes as a result.

(I must of course mention that some of the criticisms are valid, but that's not the point)

Also thank you DTG for all your hard work this time - you are being really good at responding to the community - even on Youtube, where the comment section is full of comments asking various questions!

Given there are more than a few issues, I would say the opposite is the case.

It really needed another month or two in the oven to fix up items like the save game, get to grips with the lighting (surely beta testers commented on the washed out look), fix the known problems with Spirit Of Steam (rogue SPAD's), modify dynamic weather, fix the funky car spawners on Cajon etc., etc.

Interating point - the issues do make it seem like that, and perhaps we may not have seen these issues if they had delayed it further.

Then of course the question arises - if this wasn't DTG's summer release, what was? Historically they have released something in August, but they didn't this time - maybe there were issues that we were unaware of that were fixed behind the scenes, that we would be complaining about if this was released in August.

You do make an interesting point though, and it is always fun to speculate!
