I’m suggesting the Washington Metro. It consists of six lines: The Blue Line between Downtown Largo and Franconia-Springfield, The Green Line between Branch Avenue and Greenbelt, The Orange Line New Carrollton and Vienna/Fairfax-GMU, The Red Line between Glenmont and Shady Grove, Effective on Sunday June 22, 2025 the Silver Line will be split into two separate service patterns with one half of trains running between Ashburn and Downtown Largo and the other half of trains running between Ashburn and New Carrollton and Effective December 2025 the Yellow Line will also be split into two separate service patterns with one half of trains running between Huntington and Mount Vernon Square/7th Street-Convention Center and the other half of trains running between Huntington and Greenbelt. Trains that run on the Washington Metro are: Alstom 6000 Series both trains come in 6 car and 8 car sets on all six lines. Kawasaki 7000 Series which comes in either 6 car sets on the Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow or 8 car sets on all six lines. Hitachi 8000 Series Time period: 2030 The license that runs on this route is the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. This route would be fun to play in the game because it is a great system that has a combination of above ground and underground stations, some straight and curved sections of tracks above ground and underground stations. It has also complete end to end journeys on all six lines. All 98 stations have Passenger Display Screens showing when the next train is going to arrive and the final destination. Steps of getting to the end goal of 129 miles of track: First start with the Red Line between Shady Grove and Glenmont. Finally with the Silver Line between Ashburn as well between Ashburn and Downtown Largo as well between Ashburn and New Carrollton which starts on June 22, 2025.
If it has significant underground stations then unlikely as DTG have admitted to struggling with light baking in TSW. The other big if would be licensing or access for research, if the operator decided they don’t want their infrastructure and train systems replicated in a game for security reasons. And yes, OP, you would get your premise over much better using some punctuation and paragraphs (not wanting to be the grammar police here ).
