I understand MTA wants us to have the safety systems on, but this is gonna be very annoying every Time we go over the speed limit . I understand some people like to obey everything but this is just gonna make the route more annoying not only that have us to pay again for the route most people already have it’s a big turn down point if there’s a settings feature that allows us to turn it off that would be great and people will still be able to turn it on if they want to, but don’t force everyone to keep it on that’s how you keep people away
Unfortunately you can't or the route doesn't exist. That's like their ultimatum at the end of the day considering all the events that happen irl. Mta were also concerned about a lot of other things like how the signaling system works in harlem which if you aren't following, you can crash into a train in front of you which is why they made it a requirement to be on all the time for this dlc
Try finding the fuses for the systems and switching them to “Off” or “isolate.” No guarantees, but it’s worked for me before on other lines.
There is really no point in expressing your frustration at this. To have the route, MTA required DTG to turn safety systems on permanently. End of discussion. DTG either obeyed that request or LIRR 2.0 wouldn’t even be released.
Is there any evidence that MTA that requires? I read a lot of false claims here on the forums so I check this before it will ends up in a useless discussion again... What Matt already has confirmed that without running the safety systems you get in strange problems due to missing information via the safety systems like get stuck in a trainblock and with safety systems you didn't get there. So the HUD can not inform you about this incidents.
They could have added assisted brakes and assisted throttle. That's what race simulators use to make cars more drivable so people don't crash the branded cars
Thats not solve the problem. And is bizar unrealistic... Driving with this safety system is not difficult at all. So thats noting like pzb
Even discussing this or suggesting exploits/workarounds could invoke the ire of MTA so while not ideal, best left as a taboo subject. Either don't buy the route, or "git gud". After all this is a simulation and part of that is running with safety systems on.
Correct! I try to learn my self if i didn't know and its fun to do so search on the web and update you're knowledge i say
Whatever is mandated in the license DTG have to adhere to. Either try and learn the safety systems, or don't bother with the route.
The circuit breakers have been removed. There's more in the roadmap article but without the breakers, can't do anything
