The WCML has been absolutely incredible for us to play minus the timetable issue's in my opinion but the rest has been great. I am really optimistic that our fan base wants to have an extended WCML south that starts from London Euston to Birmingham with Northampton loop so that we can do full runs to Birmingham New St To get more gameplay out of the 390, 350, maybe the 323 if we go back into 2018/2019 Additional DLC can be the 730 to replace some layers of the 350 16 Stations Birmingham New Street Adderley Park Stetchford Lea Hall Marston Green Birmingham international Hampton-in-Arden Berkswell Tile Hill Canley Coventry Rugby Long Buckby Northampton Wolverton Milton Keynes Central I believe a lot of previous users would purchase this so we get two main terminus' to connect with the 390 The 350 would be an amazing route to play end to end as well Daventry freight terminal would be interesting for freight service's too
To get the most out of route hopping at MKC you would ideally want the timetables to sync up as much as possible.
Be nice if it happens azzax. The 390&350 are great to drive. Obviously the way TSW currently works, they'd be a route hop involved at Mk. With Great British Railways on the horizon, might not be a license issue dealing with the the government.
I agree with this 30 mins is way too short of a run for the pendolino. If they extend it to Birmingham it opens up more run time and timetable services
I totally understand that, I'd prefer an extension than an actual route so it'll cater to previous owners with the content which will entice more players to purchase this add on. But to get a full run of some on a 390 with the potential of doing 350's to Birmingham to Euston would be incredible for the level of gameplay we'll receive with this
As much as I’d love to see this in TSW it would never happen as it’s over 100 miles in length, and DTG have a limited development time frame. The best we can hope for is a separate MK to Birmingham route. I play the TSC version of this route and it never fails to disappoint. A 90 minute Pendalino run is what we all wanted in TSW.
Love a proper run with the Pendo at speed, totally onboard with a longer route. The 350 is praiseworthy also, it's great to drive. Just bought the BCC route apart from being a bit quiet, you could see how the route would make a great extended run. JT WCML Preston to Carlisle might have to do for a slightly out of era run. Only about 5 months in with Tsw,so how Dovetail decided to cut at Mk was a puzzle, before we got details,I was sure it would be longer. Let's hope someone makes up the Glasgow towards Carlisle current era.
Oh my bad, yeah I thought you meant the entire route. They would never do an extension for this though, but a standalone route is a possibility.
It could be a project within the future TSW may end up like TSC with lots of requirements and we could innovate it perhaps in the future but it would require a lot of performance. This would probably only work on PC unless there was a way for console players to have a good amount of performance. I guess a stand-alone route might be appropriate but perhaps moving into the future it would be great to merge the two together but if it's possible to do then it would be great.
I would rather the existing route extended (and properly finished) than a separate standalone route. Hopping is just a gimmick.
Well, I'd say it would be more likely if extended to Rugby or Coventry. Maybe with a 221/805 added! Like SEHS.
I think it could be done eventually it's just a lot of time, effort and dedication and it depends on n how DTG want to be committed to do that I hope they would though. After playing the WCML enhancement mod on the PC it really up'd my level of gameplay and gave me more to love towards this route however i reckon people would be really happy for this to end in Birmingham so we can all do a full run to New St - Euston
I have to say, upon hearing it only went to Milton Keynes I was very disappointed and flattened, I can't remember anyone suggesting Euston to MK, more like Euston to Birmingham New Street. Now we get the daft excuse that they can't do 100 miles, well yes they can, if they put time to it and they have the team, heck wouldn't mind paying extra for a 112 mile route at all! We all would be having tones of fun! When DTG don't rush it which they seem to do, they do a stunning job but they make themselves look like amateurs.
The TSW version of this route is like eating a beef burger, whilst the TSC version is like eating a steak.
41 stations and 113 miles? I'm hoping this will merge the current West Coast Main Line. If it does. The add-on will be renamed to West Coast Main Line South: London - Milton Keynes & Birmingham
