This Route is Based off of the existing "WCML Trent Valley" Route from TSC, only in TSW, it is set in the present day, and goes to Crewe Rather than ending at Stafford LENGTH: 69 MILES STATIONS: 7 CREWE, STAFFORD, RUGELEY TRENT VALLEY, LICHFIELD TRENT VALLEY, TAMWORTH, ATHERSTONE, NUNEATON AND RUGBY. INCLUDED ROLLING STOCK: BR Class 805 AWC (NEW) Built to Replace the Aging Class 221 'Voyagers' on the long distance Euston to Holyhead Services, the Class 805 are BiMode Units, part of the "IET" Family, they were introduced very recently for the WCML and are (apart from the 807 in testing) the newest trains Avanti have got. BR Class 350 LNWR (or the livery close to it) (Reused) The Class 350 makes a return for this route, doing fast, and stopping commuter runs along it, (NOTE: THE REASON THE CLASS 390 IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS ROUTE IS THAT THE 390 WAS A LOCO DLC, FOR WCML SOUTH, HAVING THE SAME LOCO, INCLUDED FOR A SEPERATE ROUTE, WOULD DEFEAT THE POINT IN IT BEING A LOCO DLC IN THE FIRST PLACE AND WOULD ANGER SOME PEOPLE) WAGONS: IKA WAGON (TESCO LIVERY) LAYERS: CLASS 390 (WCML S) Being Probably the most common layer on this route, it would do most of the Euston - Manchester services. CLASS 66 (From All Routes That Have it) Would do a fair few freight services on the route, most originating, or going to Daventry OTHER LAYERS: Class 323 (NT) - AI At Crewe for Manchester Services Via Alderley Edge and Styal Class 323 (WMR) AI at Litchfield Trent Valley Line as Cross City Line Trains. Various BR Era Content, such as the class 87 from WCML OS at crewe sidings, as well as mk2s and mk3s, also tons of other locos to possibly add. KEY LOCATIONS: CREWE STATION Crewe is one of the most interesting stations along the trent valley, with it having tons of old fashoned locos tucked away in the sidings. DIRFT (DAVENTRY INTERNATIONAL RAIL FREIGHT TERMINAL) Daventry is a key freight terminus, having freight trains passing or stopping there daily. RUGBY STATION This station is a key hub for avanti and LNWR, and has freight passing through it daily. FUTURE LOCO DLC OPPERTUNITY BR CLASS 221 (AWC) it would be good to have this before they get withdrawn and replaced by the 805s ROUTE HOPPING BIRMINGHAM CROSS CITY - AT LICHFIELD TRENT VALLEY THANK YOU ALL FOR LISTENING TO THIS SUGGESTION. THIS WAS A REALLY FUN WRITE UP, AND I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED!
if i remember correctly, Daventry is closer to Northampton and not rugby so therefore would not be included...
I like the idea of this. It saves time making new locos so DTG have more time making the game actually look good and get rid of any bugs.
As WCMLS stops at Milton Keynes, this would need to start at Milton Keynes so you could route hop between the two. So MK to Crewe or Stafford ...
Daventry actually could be a possibility, as it is close to Rugby. It would open up a lot more opportunities for freight, for sure.
Instead of the class 66 why not make it the electric locos 88 90 92 93 99. Of those the 88 93 99 locomotives have the ability to run on diesel power if the OHLE System were to be shutdown for repairs. Passenger Class 805
