Xbox Series X Wcml Preston-carlisle + Class 87 Bugs

Hi,

Like this route and general quality of JT products, but there are still some issues even after 2025-06-23 large core update.

1. Mastery does not register Tier 2 task "Drive 96 km". This was broken before core update and is still broken. Since core game updated this is not issue just with quick resume. This was cold start of game.
Mastery is broken for years and you never can be sure that it will work as intended. It can't even reliably fetch the completed tiers for each track. It can show that you have not completed Tier 1 for any route, go into same screen after 20 seconds and it will report that you completed Tier 2 even if you did not. These are generic issues with DTG core game or constantly overloaded backend server. Ignoring those cosmetic issues with full restart of game + logoff/logon usually you were able to make register given tasks. But this time update of core game and fresh start did not help. Might be something that Just Trains needs to look at their side, too.
2. If you look from inside cab at the ceiling of class 87 loco (87 BLU, 87011), you can see light leaks through the seams. This is especially noticeable if you drive in cloudy weather and these white seams change the intensity. Can't say this is old problem or appeared after June 23 update - noticed just now.
3. Rivers alongside the track have very nice texture and seem realistic (compared to older router), but there are multiple places where water texture is missing at all. You see water ending as perpendicular line to the bank of river. After some 300m river is again properly textured. It does not seem related to the fact how far the river is from tracks. There are places where water is very far in the distance and it has water texture and it might lack the water when close to the tracks. I think it is always missing at the same places. There were other routes that had similar water texture problems. Was same before June 23 update. Not sure it is Xbox Series problem or generic for all platforms.
4. In a Journey mode driving class 87 something happened in the last 5 km before final destination. The locomotive refused to take any power. Lowering/raising pantograph did not help, restart of physics simulation option did not help. Luckily I was able to complete the journey as was rolling down from hill. Probably my own mistake and it was possible to recover the loco if you know the proper sequence of buttons to press. Just was annoyed the restart of simulation option did not help as it was supposed to get loco back to known working state.

If you see the problems with light through ceiling and missing water textures would like to hear back. Especially if you see them on anything else than XSX. These should be relatively easy problems for Just Trains to fix.

In all honesty, I really don't follow these much other than the monthly mastery, but many I don't even try to complete, and yet I do.
