The WCML South route runs from Euston to Birmingham New Street, but does not make realistic use of the 'slow' services. As far as I know, all West Midland Trains services run through Rugby and then Northampton and Long Buckby to Coventry. The additional rail is not huge, so why did DTG not include that part of the route? Without it, it is impossible to simulate a real timetabled route for non-pendolino services. Just Trains does a great job of interlocking sections of their routes, so why can DTG not do it?
I think this was one of the original criticisms of the route from some on the forum when it was first released.
