here goes nothing... one of my grips with BPO and WCMLos was the lack of info in the service description, like X2XX forms x2XX or forms from x2XX. its something i have mentioned in the feedback thread. i did suggest that a list maybe a solution to no reply. so I've had ago myself. I've covered the class 101 and 142 so far and I'm looking to start working on the rest sometime soon. this list is not meant to be a full timetable far from it so you wont get X1XX Euston to Glasgow in it. 1 loco one train one run. what I'm looking for is... service blocks, of 2 or more services where you stay in game on the same loco or DMU that can range from 30mins to 8 hours (yes there is a block that is 0810 mins long if you stay in) Services that only have the start section listed but have more parts after, 0T63 being an example that has another 2 parts to it if you stay in game any start on foot scenarios where the first part has been missed i know there are a couple out there. and last services that dovetail with each other, 0A26 with the 87 LE to Lancaster if done quick rather than wait you can route hop back to Carnforth and do the 1A26 down to Lancaster with the 47 and leave you with an option of 47 LE to Preston or 87 1A26 to Preston. you will notice ive marked each with L Listed in the timetable or NL non listed, if i find any start on foot ill add them as SOF. i know there is still work to do in the currant list, I am looking to rework and reduce it slightly as there is a lot of duplicate entry's etc etc and will listen to any advice (first time doing anything like this) however if anyone has found anything similar to the above 4 category's please post them on the thread and ill add them to the list. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...nZ-E5HLQu18b9Zx4LMVCmY/edit?pli=1&gid=0#gid=0
ive had a few issues with this, can you please let me know if it is viewable please as i didnt know you had to allow access. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...nZ-E5HLQu18b9Zx4LMVCmY/edit?pli=1&gid=0#gid=0
This is absolutely fantastic Phil - it needs some kind of "forum publicity" if not even pinning so it can be added to. You've actually made me decide what services to choose before bedtime!
thanks everyone. glad even one person has found it helpful, makes it worth while. ill see what i can do later to publicise it more even if it gets moved over to the guide section ill still post updates here. ive enjoyed doing it as well. my hope was that by linking all the service together it would make for a more immersive experience and help people get round the time table list which at times i can find frustrating. hope you all enjoy
work is still progressing this week and i have added a few start on foot shunt moves, two ive have added (thanks to the feedback thread) is 7T63 Carnforth trip working (15:40) and Carnforth bottom end sidings to Warrington (17:28) nether are listed and require a start on foot at 15:40 and 17:20. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...nZ-E5HLQu18b9Zx4LMVCmY/edit?pli=1&gid=0#gid=0
Nice services; I enjoyed those, thanks. It's worth noting I think that you need to change the brakes to vacuum to get things rolling. Oh those pesky vacuum brakes....
thankyou must confess i haven't got round to running it yet. i will have a look at others where ive had to change brakes and add them in as well.as a pointer though I unlike the awesome service thread I'm not going to put a full/Part description of each service. to me it makes it better when you find the unexpected.
just to let you know im still working on this. latest update I've gone through all of the class 31 service blocks and they are all listed and i am most of the way though the class 45 services. I've duplicated the loco services to each loco type as its easier to find them and just C&P in the list. it can be a bit of a rabbit hole at times with the locos as you may be looking at 4 at a time but its slowly getting there. I've learnt the timetable doesn't roll over to the next day so if you start at kingmoor at 23:55 there are 3 47s and an 08, start at 00:00 there is 2 47s and an 87. thats give me a start point as once a service is finished for the day it becomes dead/static stock once I've done every loco through the time table list ill go back though the full 24 hours to see what i can find. ive got 2 more write up for 0S81 kingmoor to upperby 16:59 which is a shut move around Carlisle not listed and 1Z47 stoke to fort William which turns up at Carlisle around 05:35. starting on foot it had a class 40 on it. hope you can see though my madness and make sense of it all. kind regards phil https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...nZ-E5HLQu18b9Zx4LMVCmY/edit?pli=1&gid=0#gid=0
1Z47 stoke to fort William Turns out to be the west highland wanderer rail tour that starts at 04:15 at Preston and is only available in June or July. not run it yet but its a heavy load with 13 on so should be fun up shap
still going with this and have got the class 40 done and have been working though the class 47 however ive hit a snag. the 13:46 warcop to kingmoor service with the 47 can only be done in the blue 47 from NTP, BPO and shap HI BLU. for now if a service doesn't appear with the 47 just try a different one. ill go back and have a look at the different liveries after I've done the 47/87/08 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...nZ-E5HLQu18b9Zx4LMVCmY/edit?pli=1&gid=0#gid=0
