Hi All! I thought I’d share my latest in development project, some West Coast Railway Class 47’s. Textured in substance painter, based on the Just Trains West Coast Mainline Preston - Carlisle Class 47/4. Included is 47/0 47/7 47/8 This will be released over on trainsimcommunity, let me know your thoughts!!
Great Western... An update for you guys! Now included in the pack is 47815 in her BR Two Tone Green livery, which looks rather splendid as I may say so myself - I've included some screenshots down below, this should also be layered into a very cool timetable in the future
After some feedback from friends, I have made a few edits. I have decided to model and include the DRS Multi Work Plug, aswell as fix a few issues with the BR Green skin. The locos now have the 10A Shedplate as they do in reality. The MU Plug only applies to the /0 & /8. There is only one WCRC 47/7 with the plug, and I felt it was too much hassle to try and work out how to get it to apply to one specific RVN. I still can't figure out for the life of me why the back of the handrails are still showing yellow, I have made the proper cuts in blender to allow Substance to align with the UV map. Another question I had for you guys is if you would like to see the inclusion of nameplates? Only 47245, 746, 786 and 815 have them in reality, so felt like it wasn't worth it. Anyways, as normal I have attached some photos down below.
