Since the November roadmap Q&A closed I have a few things I really want to get off my chest.

    1. How many questions are constantly answered with "we are investigating this" and "we are planning to"? Nearly all of the questions while being left in the dark for weeks. "No news" or "No ETA" - this is OK for an Early Access game, not for a game that is considered to be released "stable".

    2. Maik's post saying "No, i'm an idiot talking with you guys." - Maik, then why are you even bothering to be on the forums at all? If you hate your own customers so much which really look up to your work, why are you even working on public projects AT ALL? Your behavior towards your community is just disrespectful and personally saying, garbage behavior.

I noticed a couple of questions on steam, and both answers were effectively, We aren't doing anything at all with that.

Hopefully steam hasn't been abandoned already...

I am pretty sure other developers use the words "We are investigating or it is not planned or it is not being worked on." It is not just a tsw or dtg thing. Plenty of games use the phrases

    DTG, Mr. Rissik:

    1. Develop
    2. Test, using standardized checklists
    3. Release when ok, leave minor issues in for post-release patches
-> happy customers, good reputation, more happy customers, more revenue.

You are damaging yourself in the end if you keep on working like you do. The customer wants a working sim. Many of us spent hundreds of Euros on you (in my case, even thousands, yes I'm an addict who owns almost the complete TSW&TSC catalogue). Checking my files, I have fixed/modified more than 3,000 files for TSC to iron out issues.

All other train sims I'm playing work fine and are reliable, delivering exactly what they promise, even Early Access games.

Yours is not. Bad for us, but could be worse for you in the end.

honestly this made me realise I'd much rather spend 600€ on a model train than 600€ for ~20 DLCs for TSW. even tho TSW is right now one of the best train simulators out there (in terms of graphics and partial realism/accuracy), having issues ignored, purposefully or not, is just not okay. I often noticed, especially in streams, they skipped actual questions regarding, even if just minor, still issues that even just slightly break the immersion of the game, and went on to those just talking about features of the game, upcoming fixes of problems they actually did something about because it was too game breaking for 'em and leave the problems behind.

You are missing the correct context by just quoting my obviously disrespectful (to myself) answer. Please add the corresponding context into your quote. Thanks.

This thread is moving in a dangerous direction. Have no issue with constructive criticism for the work we do, but it's not appropriate to pointedly call out other members of the community, particularly without corresponding context. Locking it before things escalate further.
