I would love it if they eventually add the UTA Trax and FrontRunner in Salt Lake City, Utah USA to the game as they have some legacy equipment that is due to be replaced and it would be interesting to see how it drives compared to the newer equipment that's been added since, as well as if they eventually added the new Stadler units that are apparently going to replace some of the Trax trains. I think that SLC would also be a good freight haul route. I think that since the Trax lines are due to for expansion / moving it could also be good since it could provide some updates or maybe have historic settings. Such as running the overnight freight switching that happens on some of the Trax lines under a timecrunch to try and have the freight off that network before it opens for the day.
Frontrunner and UTA Trax are good ideas. For freight trains on the route, we should get a UP SD70M, GP60/GP62/GP60E, GP40N, SD40N, SD70ACe-T4, SD59MX, C45ACCTE (ES44AC), C45AH (ET44AC), and/or C44ACM (either a C44-9W or C4460AC rebuild). Amtrak also runs their California Zephyr on this route, so a P42DC or ALC-42 Charger and Superliner consist could be included as well. As for Frontrunner, they use MP36PH-3Cs and Commuter Cars (both in game already). I'd prefer to get the D&RGW Soldier Summit route from Helper-SLC, UT that DTG did for TS Classic. The D&RGW route could include the following locos: SD50, SD40T-2, GP40(-2), SD9, GP30, SW1200, and Amtrak F40PH w/ California Zephyr Superliner consist. Soldier Summit would be set in the 1980s, before the SP merger. With a 1990s SP version of Soldier Summit, we could get GP60s, SD45T-2s, SD40Rs, SD40T-2s, C44-9Ws, AC4400CWs, U-Boats, B39-8s, MP15DCs/ACs, and ex-D&RGW locos, along with Amtrak P40DC Genesis units w/ the CZ.
