It is good to see new routes and Loco's launched, but it would be great if you could introduce some Loco's and routes in the 70's, when the old diesels were on the tracks. Ie class 50/ class 25 and of course the Westerns, which we already have.

There is a huge following here for the nostalgic diesel trains, from us older generation, when they ran non stop in the 70's & 80's. Separate editions could be added to the Riviera Line and East Coast Line etc. This would allow us to go back to the 70's when the old diesels were everywhere. They had real character, a soul and had to be driven without any new technology.

The new Loco's are very good, but please don't forget the 70's and 80's era, which really was the age of the Train and pre modern equipment / aids.... Except AWS.

Please you guys at Dovetail, take note and please make it happen. You would have an even bigger following going into 2026

I'm one of those who fully agrees with this. I'd particularly like to see some traditional Scottish loco haulage, with 26's and 27's either on the West Highland Line, Highland Main Line or Far North/Kyle lines. Or something like the Cambrian Line with a variety of DMU's on various services (especially Class 120) but also 24's and 25's on freight and summer Saturday workings. Even the Wherry Lines in the mid to late 70's would be good. Class 101 and 105 DMU's on the locals, but massive loco haulage on a summer Saturday timetable.

I like the 90s, I'm a gabber and I love Thunderdome, the trains were also nice at that time. Below you can see some pictures of the NS

    Undeniably.
Lovely, whichever country one come from.

    Absolutely !
Seems to me that JT was working on the Highland Mainline for TS before moving to TSW, maybe we can count on them for that in a not-so-distant future ?

Hardcore will never die !!! :D

A late 1970's pack for ECML is my easiest suggestion. An original Intercity 125 and a Deltic using Mk2 D-F stock. Job done.

I'll shut my moaning about the lack of TSW love for the Eastern Region content for at least a year. I promise.
