The above scenario with the Victory Works K1 requires you to drop off a gas tanker in the sidings at Harperley, pull back onto the main line and reverse back to recouple on to the brake van. You are prompted to request permission to pass the shunt signal behind your train, but even with the train moving in reverse, Tab does not generate the authority from the signaller and the game ends when you pass the ground signal at danger. A workround is to temporarily disable SPAD's so you can just run past the signal but obviously something is not triggering here as it should. Actually the workround didn't work - even though I disabled SPAD's, still got the game over message. Scenario cannot be completed.
Ah, thank you. User error. Mods please lock or delete this thread then! Edit: Actually it's Ctrl-Tab (Shift Tab opens Steam overlay) but can now press on with the scenario, thanks again.
