I do not mind new posters in the contest but I miss the old (gang) which was posting before but I can understand them. I do not like this weekly contest has been changed to monthly. I saw on TSW that they have every 2 weeks but I do not play TSW so I do not know what they think about that. But I decided also to stop posting now when it is monthly because it is no fun to wait for a whole month to see if you won or not. How do you others feel about it?
I slightly prefer the monthly format, but I wish DTG Jamie would state the closing date for each one, as it’s never been the exact end of the month. However, I think we have to be realistic and accept that with decline of traffic on this forum that the competition's end is coming into sight. I've hugely enjoyed it and found it has increased my playing and buying, but its restrictions on only including Steam available products has driven some of the old hands away. The AP weather and track packs are so good that many players won't run without them. I'm weird, because for me the pleasure of competing is greater than the pleasure of running with AP enhancements.
I do not run any extra add-on in TSC. I only buy stuff from Steam,Rsslo and Virtual Railroads. I do not feel I need a lot of extra stuff(add-ons). I prefer to run the game in original way.
I really hope the end of TSC is not near. The devs did mention in the the last roadmap stream for TSW that content is brewing for TSC and TSC is alive and kicking. I just really hope we can soon get DTG to officially fix the headlight flare issue and release the next core patch to TSC.
