Hi, I reinstalled train sim a couple of days ago and am getting some weird problems with some third party locos. When I load into quickdrive on settle-carlisle, the AP 37, AP 87 and ATS 185s are all not responsive to the keyboard and the outside looks broken. I've tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the locos but the problem doesn't clear. My trains from Steam and from JT work fine. The screen grabs show the problem. Has anybody seen this before and know how to resolve? Graham
For some reason the loco number is not properly defined. Are you doing a Quick Drive and Selecting the AP locos or swapping a DTG loco for the AP version? Having reinstalled the game you should reinstall the AP Addons from fresh.
Hi I am doing a quick drive and selecting the AP locomotive. It also happens when I run a scenario. I installed the locomotives using the installers.
I got something similar when I swapped locos in TS-tools (to an AP class 37) with the 'Retain original numbers when swapping stock'. As I didn´t have the config part of the loconumber I got all variants of headlight, headcode boxes and so on. Never looked anyware except the nose though.
Did you Re-install or just copy the files from your backup? If this happens in the game - Pause the Scenario and go in to the Scenario Editor Double click on the loco number then see what the pop-out shows It should have the loco number plus all the codes to select the nameplates and lights etc.
I tried to reinstall a number of times. Both the assets and the game. Nothing worked. I ended up reinstalling windows 11. The class 50 seems fine. Now to reinstall everything...
