I never purchased TSW4, so I've decided to pick up ECML for £6 in this sale, purely because its semi local to me and was £6! Otherwise my rule nowadays is only buying JTs routes!
Well, £5.99 is about the same price as a box of sleeping tablets. Driving the class 801 will cure your insomnia faster.
I've had a crazy thought, and this is for the OP and others trying to find where they last put their sharp sticks ready for some angry mob action. You chose to buy this game/SIM on the Xbox platform, there are plenty of other games that rarely get sales on said platform, are you going to rally for them games too or is just because you are not getting what you want when you want it?, these are the questions that boggle my brain.......
Still waiting for skull girls to go on sale and I’ve complained about it before somewhere, look I’m really only interested in a few games and it’s getting annoying seeing other platforms getting good sales and the platform I play not
What we are complaining about is fact every other platform gets more sales and much better ones like how can you say it’s fair at the moment?
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster is installing now, but it's 123GB and will take a while to download. In the meantime, plenty of time to bemoan another rubbish TSW5 sale.... A 50% discount on TSW2 and TSW3 legacy routes would have been a nice gesture. It's not like anybody is dropping £29.99 on SEHS and BML.
I can't wait to dive into the remastered Oblivion, I loved the original to death. I even burnt out my original 360 by playing it pretty much nonstop for about a year. As it happens my original series X has just become a ex console and progressed to being a doorstop, so I might just go find my sharp stick and join in the angry mob action, as it's Microsoft's fault I played TSW far to much........
I just got home to find that Xbox had shadow dropped this. I’ve heard no news on this or it being a thing until today. I had fond memories playing this back in 2006 on the 360, hard to believe that was 20 years ago. Installing it now myself, hopefully have time to put a few hours into it tomorrow. Enjoy I wish this route was on sale on PlayStation. It’s one of the routes I’ve been looking to buy. Lucky Xbox. £14.99 is a sweet price too.
Just came in to say the same thing. The Oblivion release looks beautiful and may have just stuck the nail in the coffin for TSW for now. I just feel like TSW is falling a little short at the moment especially as you say that older content still being sold at full price. I don't feel like some of the TSW5 routes are worth full price let alone the older content.
These old routes should IMHO be permanently reduced in price on all platforms. It’s an absolute farce that ancient and pretty mediocre routes like Rapid Transit are still sold at a full price of £25. You’d have to be barmy to pay that. Anyhow as I might have said previously, if it’s any consolation to our friends on XBox, the PSN sale ending today only had selected items discounted.

Last sale on Steam/PC was back in March though nothing really for me to pick up as either already in my collection, too new, or don’t want/need.
It wasn't announced officially until it released I believe, there had been industry insiders and journalist saying it was a thing for probably the better part of a year though.
This exactly. And the more short, modern routes and locos that are released, the fewer future sales will entice me to buy anything.
That doesn’t make it fair that other platforms get more sales than us. It won’t apply for everyone but tsw is the only game that I buy dlc for so I’m obviously going to feel inclined to want more discounts, considering what PlayStation, steam and epic get
Barely. Only thing that was remotely exciting was the addition of the Netherlands. If DTG actually started to Lock In and make more locomotives, it'd be more exciting. At the slow pace we're at currently, I'm not particularly pressed to pick things up on sales.
