Are there more scenarios if you purchase from Just Trains. What are the disadvantages from buying the steam version?

 

Usually the scenarios are different, Steam version scenarios will only use Steam available assets whereas purchased direct you'll have those scenarios but in addition the same scenarios cloned with AP and other non Steam only payware, so effectively double the amount of scenarios.

Also if it's a mergable route then you'd need the direct download version as the Steam versions are only ever standalone routes.
