Could upgrade the train sim classic route (WCML south) into tsw3 could be a new extention to the current cross city line so new street doesent look so empty, more up to date services like the avanti pendolino and the transport for Wales 158 <unplayable service> aswell as the already added west midlands railway 133s and London midland services usually 350s with the upgraded livery would make stations like new street look as busy as they should, this would also give more opportunity for future extention and there's countless amounts of vehicle add ons that could be included e.g. London overground London midlands services, transport for Wales, cross country etc many of theese haven't been seen on TSW before. It may be a lot of work but all the framework is currently there from the train sim classic version and the cross city line.

Although the route already exists in TSC, the games have a vastly different architecture (if that's the right word) meaning it would have to be rebuilt almost from scratch. At this stage a ~120 mile route with multiple pieces of new rolling stock seems unlikely unfortunately.

We are more likely to get something like Rugby to Stafford via Birmingham New Street or Nuneaton at the moment.

Yeah I completely agree however I do feel as if cross city is really lacking some form of rush hour aspect compared to other add ons by only really having one main passenger service(323) makes the add on look slightly empty even a basic commuter service such as Birmingham new St to Wolverhampton or Wolverhampton to Walsall via New St could be added which is a much shorter route and only contains the 350 which is already in the game and only a new livery would be needed, I know the focus is on the West midlands railway but adding something like this may add more variety too it.

I think the intention is to add new layers to existing routes going forward such as the EMT HST being added to SEHS, so if we see another West Midlands route the likelihood is Cross-City might be updated to feature more services, particularly at Birmingham NS.
