    The West Coast Main Line (WCML) between Carlisle and Glasgow Central is a section of the larger WCML that runs from London to Glasgow. This section of the line connects Carlisle in Cumbria, England, to Glasgow Central in Scotland, passing through some of the most scenic areas of the UK. The line runs through the rolling hills of southern Scotland and crosses the border between England and Scotland at Gretna. It then passes through the towns of Lockerbie, Motherwell, and Hamilton before reaching Glasgow Central station. The journey between Carlisle and Glasgow Central takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with frequent services operated by various train companies, including Avanti West Coast, TransPennine Express, and ScotRail. The line also offers connections to other destinations in Scotland, such as Edinburgh and Inverness, as well as to London and other cities in England. The distance between Carlisle and Glasgow Central by train is approximately 103 miles (165 kilometers) on the West Coast Main Line (WCML). The journey typically takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on the specific train service and any stops along the way. The route passes through the rolling hills of southern Scotland, crossing the border between England and Scotland at Gretna before reaching Glasgow Central station. Along the way, the train stops at several stations including Lockerbie, Motherwell, and Hamilton, before arriving at Glasgow Central, which is one of the busiest train stations in Scotland.

    8. Carstairs: Carstairs station is a railway station located in the village of Carstairs, South Lanarkshire, Scotland.     Distance is 103 miles and for freight locomotives, it should have Class 325 Mail train Class 88 electro-diesel Mix traffic Class 92 Caledonian Sleeper

    thank you, will edit and i think the caledonian sleeper license is hard to get

    Get it now but here's the thing Serco might have given their licence to ATS for TSC Caledonian Sleeper WCML North DLC Freeware. Perhaps ATS should get the Serco licence again and make it for TSW

    Albeit ATS is a freeware HOSTING sight- I'm not entirely sure if James Ivell has any affiliation with ATS itself - albeit do quote me if im wrong.

    Caledonian sleeper franchise is going to be owned by scotrail by June so it might be difficult as I believe rivet couldn't use their liveries.

    Really good point and I wonder if that happens will Scotrail give DTG Rivet Games the License to use Caledonian Sleeper name and Scotrail announcements which should be equipped on the Caledonian Sleeper Mk5s

    Ideally set this at the same time as Cathcart Circle, to give Central a bit of life. Not sure what impact (if any) that would have on rolling stock though?
