    Hello everyone

Today , I am going to suggest the west Coastway line from Brighton - Littlehampton . It runs for 27 miles , between the following stations :

    Brighton
    Hove
    Aldrington
    Portslade
    Fishersgate
    Southwick
    Shoreham-By-Sea
    Lancing
    East Worthing
    Worthing
    West Worthing
    Durrington-On-Sea
    Goring-By-Sea
    Angmering
    Littlehampton
    Ford
    Barnham
    Bognor Regis
    Chichester

    https://www.southernrailway.com/-/me...-route-map.pdf

The reason which I list Chichester on this suggestion is that trains also continue to Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton , but that length of route is too long for TSW2 to handle at this time . Trains heading towards Portsmouth and Southampton would end the service at Chichester , then continue as AI towards Portsmouth .

There are 2 types of shuttle services :

    Brighton - Hove
    Brighton - West Worthing

Hove - Brighton services are just between the 2 stops , and take around 5-10 minutes . There is a bay platform at Hove for shuttle trains

West Worthing - Brighton services take around 20-30 minutes . There is 1 siding to go into then drive back out of into west Worthing .

The west Coastway has a maximum operational speed of 85MPH , or 140KMPH

Lastly , I will say what locos would be included . These would be :

The BR class 313 - this operates Hove - Brighton and Littlehampton - Brighton services

The BR class 377/1 - this operates Bognor Regis - Brighton and Chichester - Brighton services

The BR class 158 - this operates a few services from Chichester - Brighton and visa versa .

That is it for this suggestion , thanks for reading . Hopefully this route is made in the future , it seems like a manageable project for dovetail games .[/ATTACH]

    I wouldn't say it's too long.
The entire WCW (to Southampton) is 62 miles - less than the upcoming Riesa-Dresden route.

And Brighton - Portsmouth is 45 miles. Both lengths are very achievable. The Southampton one as I set out here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/west-coastway-southampton-portsmouth-brighton.41900/

Also may I ask, why does the Class 158 image have Arriva livery when GWR operate these services?

Hopefully DTG will consider the route - especially coming off the back off the excitement by the community for the release of BML - seems all the suggestions for WCW in the past few months have garnered positive interest.

Just to add, you've also got the Bognor-Littlehampton shuttle service using the 313.

Totally agree that this is achievable. Think of the opportunities to have a good amount of traffic across the route, the junctions around Ford would be immensely busy with trains originating from WCW and the Arun Valley Line (heading to/from London Victoria from Bognor/Portsmouth and Southampton). Plus, as discussed in a previous suggestion, extra DLC layers i.e. GWR Class 166s at Portsmouth etc.

The WCW if including the full route from Brighton-Southampton would have a wide array of services to keep the route fresh. These comprise services and different stopping patterns which the player could drive to/from:
    Brighton-Hove
    Brighton-West Worthing
    Brighton-Littlehampton
    Brighton-Southampton Central
    Brighton-Portsmouth Harbour and/or Portsmouth & Southsea
Hove-Littlehampton (originating London Victoria from BML)
    Littlehampton-Bognor Regis
    Littlehampton-Portsmouth & Southsea
Ford-Bognor Regis (originating from London Victoria via Arun Valley Line, you'd drive the 4/8-car Bognor Regis-bound stopping service portion of the train which divided back at Horsham)
Barnham-Southampton (the 4-car portion which divided from the above at Horsham, making its first stop on WCW at Barham, which the player would pick up from)
Barnham-Portsmouth (same 4-car service which divided as above, except this one goes to Portsmouth)

Plus, add in any DLC layers i.e. GWR and who knows maybe in the far future South Western at Portsmouth and Southampton ends of the route.
