    Route length: aprox. 33 miles (52 km)

    Stations:
    1.) Oban
    2.) Connel Ferry
    3.) Taynuilt
    4.) Falls of Cruachan
    5.) Loch Awe
    6.) Dalmally
    7.) Tyndrum Lower
    8.) Crianlarich

    Focus: Primarily passenger
    Rolling stock: Class 156, Class 153, Class 37
    Average time by train (Oban - Crianlarich): 1h 17m

    Special interest: Scenery, quite diesel branch line

    2.b) Special note - old Connel bridge for the yet abandoned branch line Connel Ferry towards Ballachulish. This would be a landmark you could spot from the distance. Or if you like revive the line to Ballachulish a bit up north to get the bridge in the route.

    This is actually on the train towards Fort William/Mallaig, however the viaduct is close to the station and the line towads Oban, so one shall be able to see it.

    Was wondering whether it'd be worth extending it to Glasgow Queen Street, but to Crianlarich is already around an hour. Extending it to Glasgow would probably be too long.

    +1 for me, would love to see this. Would complement well if they do another route via Yoker focusing on suburban electric. Would you say the 156 would be the included locomotive?

    +1 as well. Took my Dad for his 60th birthday week to that camping coach! Also spent a few days in the area early September this year. Simply breathtaking route and area. Certainly one for the scenery over the amount of traffic though.
